Who we are
In 2007, the Caring Jesus Educational Foundation was founded by Eddie Pineda and his son Dino to honor two simple yet heroic individuals: Eddie's mother, Caridad Morente - Caring as she was known to many - and father, Jesus Pineda.
The pair had always striven for excellence in education, shipping out each of their six children from a simple life in their Concepcion, Tarlac farm to the top universities in Manila and the United States.
Caridad herself was an educator in her own right, teaching until age 93 as a member of the Tertiary of the Dominican Order. Having lived to 105 years, her unceasing spirit continues to be the inspiration of the foundation and school.
"I strongly believe in the influence of education, especially in developing the core values that are needed by our country. Our potential as Filipinos is so great that even a small push towards quality schooling will make a big difference."
-Eddie Pineda, Chairman
What we do
The Caring Jesus Educational Foundation aims to provide quality education to the children of poor families.
It is the foundation's belief that running a private school with effective teaching methods and more efficient resources will help in areas that the public school systems lacks. This will zero-in on the younger generation faster and make change from the ground up.
The foundation is committed to providing this type of education to the children of the poor families - for free.
