Born and raised in the Philippines, Maria’s passion for empowering rural communities stems from her deep-rooted appreciation for indigenous traditions and environmental sustainability. She has worked extensively with local farmers, government agencies, and international NGOs, spearheading programs that provide training in climate-resilient farming, economic support, and eco-tourism development.

Under her leadership, the foundation has launched initiatives that enhance food security, improve livelihoods, and promote heritage conservation—ensuring that the next generation of Ifugao farmers can continue their ancestors’ legacy.

Maria is a strong advocate for grassroots leadership and women’s empowerment in agriculture. She believes that by investing in farmers, we invest in the future of the Philippines.

Passionate about empowering the next generation, Juan Miguel Dela Cruz leads The Courtney Jordan Foundation’s Youth Development Initiatives, ensuring that young Filipinos, especially in Ifugao farming communities, have the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to build a sustainable future.

Growing up in a rural province, Juan Miguel witnessed firsthand the challenges young people face—lack of education access, economic hardships, and the decline of traditional farming. Now, he is dedicated to revitalizing youth engagement in agriculture, combining modern innovation with indigenous wisdom to keep the legacy of the Banaue Rice Terraces alive.

Under his leadership, the foundation’s youth programs provide:

With a deep respect for Filipino traditions and the wisdom of past generations, Liam Jian Tan leads The Courtney Jordan Foundation’s Elder Care Initiatives, ensuring that the Ifugao elders—keepers of culture, history, and agricultural knowledge—receive the care and support they deserve.

Coming from a family that values both Filipino and Chinese traditions, Liam understands the importance of intergenerational connections. His work focuses on providing healthcare access, social support, and livelihood opportunities for elderly farmers who have spent their lives shaping the Banaue Rice Terraces and their communities.

Under his leadership, the foundation has implemented:
